Universal rearview cameras

Most universal cameras appear as a small black camera that hovers on top of the license plate.

Notably, the surface-mount style requires a surface hanging over the top of the license plate to be attached as well as minor modifications in the form of screw holes while the license plate style relies on the pre-existing screws and hides the bracket behind the license plate itself to achieve the same low profile.

SPARE TIRE REARVIEW CAMERAS

Spare tire style backup cameras were made for vehicles that have an off-center license plate location due to the spare tire’s location on the back of the vehicle.

Depending on the manufacturer, the bracket may be sold separately from the camera and the camera itself may look different than pictured above.
